As if the makers weren't confident of pulling it off had it played out linearly. ......The concept was unusual and something different, whereas the screenplay was equally impressive.......Sudhir Mishra's well-crafted story and direction deserve applaud......Chitrangda looks and acts sharp, it’s a pleasure to watch Vipin Sharma, Deepti Naval and Kanwaljeet on the big screen after quite a while......Shantanu Moitra’s music has that marvellous uncanny tendency to linger on in the memory, long after one is done with watching the film. He hires you and becomes your boss. The movie starts with a lot of promise. Plot. It’s a boring and uninspired structure, where every point of view has a literal rendering......Deepti Naval is completely wasted while the rest are just stock characters.......The upshot is a climax so moronic, it's easily one of the worst I've seen in recent times. While fighting to grab a position, they sincerely uses the emotion of a guy and when the things are done, smartly denies the fact of being personal with anybody and even forgets the ladder to reach there also. The placement of the songs is a little erratic, though.......It isn't enough that the lens caresses Chitrangada's lips or lingers over Arjun's bespectacled eyes, but we're even treated to jarring close-ups of lesser attractive actors' faces and flaring nostrils. Inkaar mostly manages to keep every plot twist within the frame of realism.......Thankfully, despite a contentious theme, Sudhir Mishra smartly steers away from melodrama throughout. That variety of can feel that you’ll be performing every one of a kind key. The subject of sexual harassment can easily reel under melodrama. Inkaar is about a story of a girl Hajra (Yumna Zaidi) who comes from a middle class background and studies in a university.She wants to fulfill her dreams and Her father Haji Ilyas (Rehan Sheikh) fully supports her.Hajra falls in love with Rehan Chaudhary(Imran Ashraf).Rehan was a friend of Shayan ().One day, Rehan Chaudhary calls Hajra to Shayan() house and try to rape her.

So whose story would you believe, and how do you find out who is fabricating the story to save a flourishing career? Ok,lets not fight over the issue whether this was a good movie to watch or not coz I will suggest people to watch it atleast for once. Chitrangada looking fab, Arjun looks comfortable and sticks nicely to the role.Trouble starts in the second half, movie begins to drag. Papon's bass voice will wake you up just when you lose interest. No offence to that but the only thing I will rather prefer to show in any movie is that girls force man to fall in love to suck them, use them properly. Thumbs up, by Bobby Sing, It happens in most of the stories except some typical and low budget never gave hit directors. Heads you go for 'Inkaar.' Only if you’ve caught everything else at the theatre.......But once you see the film you realise it’s all pre-release tripe that media-mongers bought into just a little too easily for comfort.
