The food bank is also not in South El Monte anymore and as of June 2019 and New Pomona Valley Food Bank as of the 18th of November 2019.

Food banks in Pomona, CA are amazing organizations that are mostly run by volunteers with big hearts with one goal only, to help those in need. Appointments cannot be made through Fairplex or on-site. The Fairplex plans to hold them bi-monthly moving forward. Pomona Food Banks.
Fairplex exists in a public-private partnership with the County of Los Angeles and is home of the LA County Fair and more than 500 year-round events. Due to County, State and Federal government guidelines regarding public gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, Fairplex is postponing events through mid-May.While we have not experienced any issues, out of an abundance of caution we will abide by the requests of government health officials regarding public events.Our offices will be closed to the public until further notice. 7 friends.
