The story behind this soundtrack is as follows: a prog metal guitarist named Todd Duane sent in some random demos to some D-List video game developer who was looking for composers for their paintball game, which took a grand total of two weeks to develop, received universally terrible reviews and would be totally forgotten about today if it wasn't for that... soundtrack. In addition to its outdated Build engine graphics, it shipped with a non-existent AI that performed often bizarre behaviors, particularly computer-controlled teammates who mindlessly run straight forward at the start of a match, only to be stopped by an object in their path. Namely, the completely bizzare sixth track, which sounds like Dream Theater on speed falling down the stairs while using farm animals as instruments, and also if they randomly decided to cover Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer mid-song. The game uses a modified version of the Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition v1.5 executable.
