I read the book many years ago and was moved by the story of how the native people were treated.
Had it been shortened a bit would also have been helpful but I can’t say it was an excellent western but it was a very good historical piece. The landmark, bestselling account of the crimes against American Indians during the 19th century, now on its 50th Anniversary. I was very impressed with Adam Beach and his portrayal of Dr. Charles Eastman.
This movie shows how very little has changed, specially at Standing Rock.
