Yes they have improved the insulation to a new one that is not as porous and stays tighter at the edges to stop any leakage. Different micro-organisms work at different temperature intervals. Because composting generates heat and the different materials you put in there work at different temperatures, it can be difficult to have an even, rich, high quality compost.With the Jora, however, the insulation means it heats to 160 degrees F and that efficiently and quickly composts all organic materials.
While one is being filled, the compost in the other chamber matures. Composting is all about getting the balance between carbon (wood chip etc..) and nitrogen (grass clippings etc...) right, there is a little bit of trial and error involved depending what materials you have to hand.
The JK125 units can be fixed to a wall but i wouldn't recommend fitting the 270 as it would be to heavy and would eventually pull part of the wall away
Neverth I eventually had to enlist a friend to help me so I would safely say that this would be a two-person job for just about anyone.

Elizabeth Also bear in mind as outside temperatures drop the unit will slow down somewhat, it will still work in Winter but will not be as fast as Summer composting. No rodent problems or strong smells, fits easily in a small garden.

We can't believe how quick and efficient this composter is.
It is a dual chamber model that allows for continuous use. Don't overfill any one compartment as the chamber needs air to be effective. Due to the high temperatures achieved in a Joraform compost bin you can add cooked food as well as raw fruit and vegetable scraps. My rubbish bin contents (and that of my parents) is already greatly reduced!
I rotated the unit every day for about 3 days and it got hotter and hotter. Add shredded cardboard, sawdust or wood pellets to correct. My wife was also not pleased with the contribution it made to our overall backyard appearance.Notice the complete dryness and lack of any results due to not turning the pile.I began to research other options which led me to purchase my Jora JK270 compost tumbler. Then add the whole bucket to the tumbler right after you empty the tumbler.
